As a freelance hospitality consultant and the Director of Audience Services and Group Sales at Court Theatre at the University of Chicago, Matthew Sitz has had the pleasure of managing and interfacing with audiences at hundreds of productions and events. Working with such clients as the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Arts, and Paulette Wolf Events, Matthew has learned how to connect more deeply with patrons, and discover what keeps them coming back for more. He strives to help others in the field and on his staff do the same. As a member of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM), Matthew has learned from some of the top hospitality leaders in the world. With energy, professional poise, and a “performance starts in the parking lot” mentality, Matthew delivers insightful strategies and key take-aways to ensure a great night out for everyone at your venue’s next performance.
